PROJECTS 2020/2021
For the year 2021/2022, we are raising funds for the following projects. Help us raise funds or send us your project proposal!
How we gather proposals: we usually receive project proposals directly from local community representatives (see Koungheul or Ndankh). Following an evaluation of the project with respect to the activities of our NGO and our ability to carry out, we establish a dialogue with other representatives of the community to verify the real receptivity of this proposal.
Bicycle: immigrant women and delivery
COSA will launch a new project in Italy aimed at empowering immigrant women in the Milan area. This project will involve universities and second generation immigrant citizens. The key to unlocking the potential of these women lies in the development of socio-economic conditions. Affective skills, often defined as "Life Skills" by the World Health Organization. These skills are essential tools for personal growth and social integration. Among these we mention: problem solving skills, decision making, creativity development, stress management, emotional management, self-awareness, empathy, effective communication, interpersonal relationship skills, development of critical thinking.
Continuation of medical training until 2025
All training activities already in place will continue until 2025, with the addition of new initiatives.
The importance of vision
In Africa there are 2 ophthalmologists for every million inhabitants, and 1,500,000 blind children, bound to increase. This project was created with the aim of Making blindness prevention and visual rehabilitation effective, identifying children and young people who cannot see, correcting their vision problems by means of glasses and integrating them into the school world, because study is their source of redemption towards a better future.
Construction of the maternity ward in Ndiassane
The project has already been approved and is currently under construction.
